Our Story
We’ve seen many changes since our establishment in 1948 as a mission congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.
Our passion is to close the gap between the life we live and the life we’re called to. We believe God has called us to go into uncharted territories and bring to them the kingdom of God.

Memory Work

New Coffee Hour
Starting August 3, we will host a coffee hour from 9-9:50am, in the Foyer. We'll offer a variety of hot and cold coffees, and there will also be pastries available. It's a great opportunity to come early, grab some coffee, and build community before the 10am service!
Clothing Bin
We have purchased a clothing bin that is in the Foyer. Please put gently used clothing items in it, and we will take your donations to the Crisis Assistance Ministries Free Store to help serve the needs of the homeless in our community.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast
Calling all men! Come enjoy a time of food, fellowship, and prayer at our Men's Prayer Breakfast next Saturday, July 19, from 8:30-10am, at the church. Please click here or contact the church office to let us know how much food we need.
Worship Conference
Resurrection Dance Ministry will be ministering at the Glory of Israel Conference in Fort Mill, SC, this week. If you would like more information, or to purchase tickets, please call Linda Sloan or email her at zioncwa@gmail.com.
Take Me Out to the Ball Game
This Saturday, July 19, presents a great opportunity to invest in others and have some fun while you do! We've ordered a few more tickets if you're interested in seats for Faith and Family Night with the Charlotte Knights. Tickets are $25, and we'll cover the cost for every unchurched friend or family member you bring! The baseball game starts at 6pm with a Christian concert following the game. Invitation Cards
We have made some cards for you to have handy when you're talking with people and want to invite them to church. Grab some this Sunday, keep them with you, and look for opportunities to give them out!
Special Offering
We will receive an offering this Sunday, July 20, and next Sunday, July 27, for the Texas flood victims and their families. Click here if you'd like to give online.
Prayer Opportunities
Throughout the week, we offer several different opportunities for you to join together in prayer. All prayer services are held in the Chapel.
Sundays, we pray for the service, Tuesdays, we pray for the Charlotte Crusade, Wednesdays, we pray for our pastors, church, and our nation, and on Thursdays, we pray for the lost and prodigals. Please join us!
